CGA Law Firm is pleased to announce that MidPenn Legal Services has named John R. Wilson to its Board of Directors. John will be the most recent addition to CGA’s representation on the MidPenn Legal Services Board of Directors after decades of faithful and effective leadership by both Attorneys Lawrence V. Young and Thomas D. O’Shea.
MidPenn Legal Services is a non-profit law firm that provides civil legal services to low-income residents and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Their efforts are made possible through donors, whose generosity and commitment have helped provide high-quality free civil legal services to 18 counties in Central Pennsylvania.
“I am blessed to have the opportunity to serve on the MidPenn Legal Services Board – an organization with a sterling reputation and exemplary track record of advocating on behalf of Central Pennsylvania’s low-income and otherwise underserved community,” said Wilson.
Since the inception of MidPenn Legal Services in 2000, an attorney from the CGA Law Firm has consistently served on the organization’s Board of Directors. CGA has had a representative on the MidPenn Legal Services Board (and its predecessor, Central Pennsylvania Legal Services) for the last thirty-five years.
“I have absolutely no doubt that John will carry on the tradition established here at CGA of providing exceptional legal services to all segments of the Central Pennsylvania community,” said Attorney Lawrence V. Young.
Wilson provides legal services to Civil Litigation, Municipal, Real Estate, and Estate Planning clients. As an oral advocate, John possesses considerable experience representing these clients in the judicial and agency proceedings such as motions court, hearings, oral arguments, and trial. John is excited to bring his legal skill set to bear for the MidPenn Legal Services Board of Directors in the foreseeable future.
