Leadership York aims to educate, unite, and motivate people to take on leadership roles within the York community. The organization was founded in 1978 and boasts over 4,200 graduates from its six programs. Those graduates provide leadership to more than 250 nonprofit organizations and serve thousands of constituents in state and local government. Leadership York is the primary resource for developing inspired leadership for our changing community.
“I am extremely excited and honored to become part of the Board of Directors for Leadership York,” says Gabel. “I was lucky enough to participate in the Mentorship York program in 2021 and look forward to ensuring others can have this same experience. The mission of Leadership York is to train, connect, and inspire individuals to serve in leadership positions which is vital to the health of our community, and I can’t wait to dig in to further these goals.”
