Each October the York County History Center celebrates its Colonial heritage by hosting an Oyster Festival in downtown York, PA.

Now in its 49th year, the History Center is proud to offer up the traditions and the bounty of the Bay! From the slurp of oysters on the half shell, to the creamy richness of oyster stew, and from the spicy-ness of steamed shrimp to the crispy sweetness of York County apple fritters, this is our way of saying, “Hello Fall.”
